Sausage meat wraps

Sausage meat spread thin over a wrap and fried until crisp. Squeezing it out of ordinary sausages is cheaper than buying sausage meat, but either works.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Snip the end off each sausage and squeeze the meat out into a bowl. Throw away the skins.
  2. Divide the meat between the wraps and spread it thinly and evenly with a knife, right to the edges. Thin is the key, so it cooks through.
  3. Heat a little oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Lay a wrap in, sausage side down, and fry for 4 to 5 minutes until the meat is browned and cooked right through with no pink.
  4. Flip it over for a minute to crisp the wrap, then slide onto a board. Repeat with the rest.
  5. Roll up or cut into wedges and serve with ketchup and a bit of salad on the side.
