Baked camembert with crusty bread

A whole camembert baked in its box with garlic, thyme and a drizzle of honey until molten, for everyone to dip into. A sharing starter that feels like a treat.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Take the camembert out of any plastic wrapping, put it back in the box and sit it on a baking tray.
  2. Cut a few slits in the top, poke in the garlic, sprinkle with thyme and drizzle with honey. Bake until the middle is soft and runny.
  3. Warm the bread in the oven for the last few minutes, then serve straight away for dipping. Careful: the cheese is very hot.
